Does anyone have a way to tell what the most popular land is in your state? Any idea what the average price of property searched for is? The average size of property? What about the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th most popular counties?
Read MoreThe LandsofAmerica.com office recently saw an article in the Daily Caller, proclaiming that there was a proposal from the Obama administration that would have “prevent[ed] children from doing farm chores.” The article, seen here, states that the new rules would keep minors from working “in the storing, marketing, and transporting of farm product raw materials.” In addition to this sweeping reform, this new plan would also revoke government approval of certifications earned in groups like 4-H and FFA and replace them with a 90 hour federal training program.

It's also great to see the views of the lake from inside the barn. At this point, we're going to have to call this a Lodge and not a barn any more :)
Read MoreThe roof is definitely the "icing on the cake". There were about 8 guys that showed up and started laying down the sheets of roofing. The metal roofing had to be cut a lot because of the many pieces of trim, but it's looking great.

If you've ever stained wood then you know it's not easy. Most people make a mess out of it. The painting crew came out a couple days ago and have been working hard and making it look easy. These guys know what they're doing.
